Community Tree Planting Day 2018

We want our chocolate to be good for you, but we also want to be kind to our earth. That’s why we choose to plant trees each year as our give-back plan, and increase the number of trees planted every year. Our total at the end of 2017 was 50,000 trees! This year the trees planted in combination with our company planting day will total 14,000, taking the overall total by the end of 2018 to 64,000 trees. We’d love your help! We’ll be working with the Cannibal Creek Landcare Group to protect and enhance the Cannibal Creek catchments, promote sustainable land management and maintain the biodiversity of the area. Cannibal Creek is about an hour East of Melbourne, on the fringe of Gippsland in Victoria, in a valley of high rainfall and rich soil just beyond the urban sprawl – where the air becomes fresher and the beautiful mountains come into view. We will be providing some necessities (including Pana Chocolate!), however additional snacks, gardening gloves, waterproof shoes, and gardening trowels will be essential!
