We have a batch recall of Best Before 05 Feb 2021 and April 24 2021
Pana Organic Peanut Butter Chocolate Spread 200g, due to the presence of an undeclared allergen – cashew and pistachio.
We are withdrawing as a precautionary measure to update the label from declaring ‘Tree Nuts’ to declaring ‘Tree Nuts (Cashew and Pistachio)’.
Due to the sensitivity of the allergies, in particular specific Tree Nuts, we believe we have a duty to the public to exceed legislative and regulatory requirements.
If a person has a cashew or pistachio allergy or intolerance, they may have a reaction if this product is consumed. If you, your friends or family do have this intolerance you should not consume this product.
Pana Organic fully support the direction from Anaphlaxis Australia instructing allergen sufferers to review allergen labelling and not consume products declaring allergens.
